The Yacht

The IOM is widely considered a “sailors yacht” as many of the sailors are sailing full scale yachts as well. The boat resembles both in looks and the way of trimming of the full sized sailing yachts. With its three one-design rigs the yacht may sail in wind conditions up to 35 knots. The level of the international racing is very high, however many IOM sailors are amusing themselfs during easy going club regattas as well.
