VENUE
This year’s event will be held at Camping Monte Generoso compound on Lake Lugano.
The venue features a steady breeze, elevated walk able control area with excellent site lines and dry launch. The site allows for superb courses in width and length.
The Camping Monte Generoso is a partially wooded natural park of around 20,000 m² on the shores of Lake Lugano (270 m asl) in the municipality of Melano. It is located only 10 km south of Lugano, located 20 km from Como and no little more than 50 km from Milan. A location that is perfect for interesting excursions.
The environment, the climate and the Ticino sun contribute to guarantee a pleasant stay.
The famous mountain “Monte Generoso” (1700 m.è.M.), which rises behind it is to reach a rack railway and is ideal for relaxing excursions in nature and offers a fantastic view of the lake area, the Po Valley and of the Alps. Guests will enjoy the camping 25% discount on the full ticket price.
